Job summary

Teralba Automotive is looking for a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or a qualified and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join the Newcastle workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key duties include logbook servicing, fault diagnosis, brake/suspension/steering work, engine maintenance and vehicle inspections, with a focus on delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or trade qualification in automotive mechanics.
• Demonstrated ability to service and diagnose vehicles.

3rd or 4th Year apprentice or qualified and experienced Automotive Mechanic

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of a variety of vehicles.

Your duties will include, however not limited to:

Carrying out logbook and general vehicle servicing

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, Fault finding and diagnostic testing

Brake, suspension and steering repairs

Engine repairs and maintenance

Vehicle inspections and safety checks

Replacing belts, hoses, filters and other components

Carrying out preventative maintenance

Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard

Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe

Providing professional service to customers
