Job summary

Modus Built Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking minimum two apprentices in carpentry (2nd–4th year) to join our busy team for full-time work. You will assist with renovation, framing, maintenance, and occasional kitchen/bathroom/landscaping projects.

We are a great team looking to add three new members, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and learning on the job. Eligible candidates must be Australian citizens, permanent residents or have full working rights.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a carpentry apprentice in Australia and in 2nd–4th to 4th year.
• Willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills on site.
• Able to perform physically demanding work and adhere to safety rules.
• Reliable, punctual and able to get to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with renovation, framing and maintenance tasks.
• Support kitchen, bathroom and landscaping projects as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and learn on the job.

Job description

Modus Built is a custom home/renovator and maintenance company with work booked till next year 2027.

Seeking minimum two 2nd - 4th year apprentice carpenters to join our busy team ASAP for full time work.

Full Benefits, great income, and career opportunity.

Duties will include, all aspects of renovation, framing and lock and fix work and Maintenance. We also do a the odd kitchens, bathroom and landscaping projects. We are a great team of guys and hoping to take on 3 more new members for our team!

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Be reliable and punctual
• Very keen to learn
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
• Ability to get to and from work independently

Preferred but not essential:

• Driver licence & Own car
• A white card
• Own tools ( bonus)
