Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a capable Second in Charge (2IC) for our Highfields OSHC service near Toowoomba. This permanent, part-time role offers hands-on leadership and the chance to deliver high-quality care to primary school children.

You'll work split shifts Monday to Friday (before and after school), supported by a Director of Service to help you grow in leadership, programming and school community engagement, with training opportunities and advancement paths.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring environments or OSHC/childcare preferred.
• Strong communication with children, parents and staff.
• Positive, energetic team player with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support program delivery for before/after school care.
• Engage with school community, attend events and assemblies.
• Develop enriching experiences based on children’s preferences.
• Foster genuine relationships with children and families.
• Ensure program compliance with industry regulations.
