Job summary

QuickCare in North West Sydney is seeking an Assistant Coordinator / 2IC for our Exceeding-rated OOSH service. You will support the Coordinator to lead daily operations, mentor a dedicated team of educators, and help co-design engaging, child-led programmes that spark curiosity, play and belonging.

You will also build warm relationships with children, families and the school community, and step in to lead the service when the Coordinator is away while helping to raise quality, compliance and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or related qualification
• Experience in a senior leadership role in OOSH or ECE
• Current NSW Working With Children Check
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Child protection training
• Energetic, humorous and love working with children

Responsibilities

• Support the Coordinator to lead daily operations of a high-quality before/after school and vacation care service
• Mentor, inspire and guide a fun, dedicated team of educators
• Co-design engaging, child-led programmes that spark curiosity, play and belonging
• Build warm, genuine relationships with children, families and the school community
• Stepping up to lead the service when the Coordinator is away
• Helping us keep raising the bar on quality, compliance and practice
