Job summary

anzuk Education in Sydney's Northern Suburbs seeks an OSHC Service Leader (2IC) to help lead a thriving community OSHC service in Ryde. This hands-on role sits between the Assistant Director and Team Leader, focusing on daily operations, compliance, quality and culture.

You'll mentor educators, support rostering and staff development, oversee programs across BSC, ASC and Vacation Care, and partner with families and school stakeholders to deliver high-quality care in line with the NQF.

Qualifications

• Experience in OSHC, School Age Care, Early Childhood, or Children's Services.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), NQS and MTOP.
• Current Working With Children Check and current First Aid/CPR/Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Child Protection training and National Police Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day operations of the OSHC service.
• Mentoring and supporting Team Leaders and Educators.
• Managing floor operations and maintaining a positive service culture.
• Overseeing staffing, ratios, rosters, and workforce compliance.
• Supporting recruitment, induction, onboarding, and training processes.
• Driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Supporting Vacation Care planning and delivery.
• Building strong relationships with families, children, educators, and school stakeholders.
• Ensuring NSW Child Safe Standards are embedded into everyday practice.
• Managing records, training compliance, WWCC requirements, and staff development plans.
