Job summary

Certis Australia is seeking 3 casual security officers for day and night shifts to provide 24/7 site coverage at a high-profile client site. You will be the first point of contact for staff, contractors, and visitors, with responsibilities spanning access control, CCTV monitoring, patrols, and incident response.

Ideal candidates hold a current Security Licence, First Aid Certificate, MSIC eligibility, and a valid driver's license, plus strong communication and customer service skills to uphold

Qualifications

• Current Security Licence is required.
• First Aid Certificate is required.
• MSIC or ability to obtain/maintain one is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Access control: Manage vehicle and pedestrian entry per site protocols.
• Traffic and movement management: Control vehicle flow and parking areas.
• Induction: Ensure contractors and visitors are inducted and logged.
• Surveillance: Monitor CCTV and alarms, identify vulnerabilities.
• Patrolling: Conduct internal and external patrols.
• Incident response: Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Reporting: Maintain daily logs and compliance documentation.
• Safety: Enforce WHS standards and site security procedures.
• Customer service: Deliver professional, courteous service while upholding security standards.
