Job summary

Bankwest in Melbourne is seeking Customer Service professionals for our Customer Engagement Centre. You will handle chat and phone based support around the clock, contributing to a customer‑centred service.

Roles are full-time with a 24/7 rotating roster, training, and hybrid work options after initial in‑office period. Start date on 16 November 2026, with in‑office training at 435 Bourke Street, Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 24/7 rotational rosters.
• Strong computer skills and ability to multitask.
• Comfortable in a high paced environment with feedback for improvement.
• Awareness of risk, regulatory compliance and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Offer helpful and timely assistance to customers using our online chat service.
• Support customers with new ways of banking through our app and online banking.
• Be the warm and engaging voice of the business that our customers connect with.
• Contribute to the team's vision and values whilst adding value to every customer enquiry and interaction.
• Receive inbound calls from customers, offering resolution of the query at first point.
• Provide customers with information relating to their products, services and transactional information.
• Be aware of the operational risk, regulatory compliance and occupational health and safety requirements.
