Teach like it is your calling. Because here, it is.
Are you ready to be part of the Education Revolution?
At Faith Lutheran College, we’re not just talking about 21st-century learning, we are living it. We are reimagining education by moving away from the traditional industrial model and embracing a bold, student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
Due to continued growth and the expansion of our College into a three-school model, we are seeking a passionate and innovative Middle School Maths/Science Teacher to join our team in 2027.
Located in the heart of the picturesque Lockyer Valley, our beautiful rural campus is just a minute from the Warrego Highway, making it an easy commute from Brisbane or Toowoomba. Join us at Faith and help shape the future of education.
You will be supported by a College Executive that is committed to “awakening potential and empowering learners for purposeful lives through Christ”.
Additionally, the leadership has made College wide changes to support a new way of learning:
Furthermore, the College is implementing a five-year plan to move to a “stage” not “age” model of schooling across Year 7 to 12. It is anticipated that the College will remove the concept of year levels and increase flexibility to all students.
With such innovative changes we need teachers who can “dream big” and have the requisite traits such as tenacity, passion, tolerance of ambiguity, confidence, vision and flexibility.
