Job summary

Optus Stadium is seeking Storeperson/Cellar Operations Attendants to join the Loading Dock and Distribution team. These hands‑on roles support event‑day and non‑event‑day activities, ensuring our venue runs smoothly and efficiently.

Candidates should have warehousing experience, be physically fit, and able to operate pallet jacks; training will be provided. Availability across event days and a 07:00–15:00 schedule is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing/distribution, preferably FMCG or hospitality.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment.
• Physically fit with capacity for high workloads and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and organise incoming goods with accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse, cool room, and keg room cleanliness and organisation.
• Safely distribute stock, kegs, and equipment to required locations across the venue.
• Ensure correct stock management practices, including rotation (FIFO) and consolidation.
• Operate safely around an active loading dock and follow PPE procedures.
• Assist with stocktakes, cold storage management, and general warehouse duties.
• Support Optus Stadium and HBF Park operations.

We are now seeking Storeperson/Cellar Operations Attendants to join our dynamic Loading Dock and Distribution team. These are hands‑on operational roles supporting event‑day and non‑event‑day activities, ensuring our venue runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and organise incoming goods with accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse, cool room, and keg room cleanliness and organisation.
• Safely distribute stock, kegs, and equipment to required locations across the venue.
• Ensure correct stock management practices, including rotation (FIFO) and consolidation.
• Operate safely and effectively around an active loading dock, following PPE and equipment procedures.
• Assist with stocktakes, cold storage management, and general warehouse duties.
• Support both Optus Stadium and HBF Park operations.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-focused mindset.
• Good communication skills, including use of 2‑way radios.
• Physically fit with the ability to handle high workloads and manual handling (e.g. moving kegs).
• Previous warehousing/distribution experience required, particularly in FMCG or hospitality.
• Experience with pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, buggies, and warehouse machinery.
• Willingness to work event days and within a 07:00-15:00 schedule.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following OHS guidelines.
