Job summary

VenuesWest is seeking a Catering Operations Supervisor to oversee catering services across functions, cafés, kiosks and retail outlets at Perth High Performance Centre and other venues. You will drive operational excellence, coach teams, and ensure cost-effective, compliant delivery during events.

About the Role

The Catering Operations Supervisor manages the delivery of catering services across functions, cafés, kiosks and retail outlets, including hospitality operations that support sporting events, concerts and other venue activities. The role is focused on operational excellence, team development, customer service and the efficient, compliant and cost-effective delivery of catering operations.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity. Regular hours are Monday to Sunday, availability to work outside of normal hours and on weekends is required where shift loading applies.

Whilst the position will be based at Perth High Performance Centre in Mount Claremont, mobility will be required between the portfolio of facilities including Arena Joondalup.

About the Person

The successful candidate will have strong experience working in a catering event environment with operational experience in the delivery of large-scale events from start to finish. This includes staff training and retention, and ensuring cost effective management and control of catering operations.

Employment Screening

To be eligible for employment with VenuesWest you must have the following at the time of commencement:

• Right to Work in Australia for the duration of the employment contract
• National Police Clearance
• Completion of course in Liquor Licensing (51544) and ability to become Approved Manager; or capacity to obtain within 3 months of commencement
• HACCP Food Safety Supervisor Certification; or capacity to obtain within 3 months of commencement
