Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic Before and After School Educator to support programs across Geelong and surrounding suburbs. Roles are open to qualified or unqualified staff with relevant experience or diplomas in early childhood education.

You will supervise children, assist in engaging activities, set up after-school clubs, and maintain a safe environment while liaising with carers. Randstad Education emphasises child safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is essential or you will hold a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education.
• Willingness to travel to different locations around your area.
• Able to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs.
• Understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework.

• Actively supervising primary school aged children in outdoor and indoor activities.
• Assisting other staff in engaging in programs that are fun and educational.
• Setting up outside of school clubs and activities.
• Offering a safe and secure environment.

Qualified or unqualified OSHC roles available now across Geelong, Drumcondra, Waterfront, Geelong City Centre, Rippleside,Newtown, Highton, Belmont, Grovedale, Armstrong Creek, Lara, Leopold, Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Portarlington, St Leonards, Clifton Springs, Newcomb, whittington, Norlane and surrounding suburbs

About you:

• No qualifications needed but experience working with children is essential or you will hold a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education, Certificate IV in Education Support, Certificate IV in school aged education & care, Certificate IV in Children's Studies 4-14 years. • Willingness to travel to different locations around your area
• Able to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs
• An understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework
• A willingness to gain your state based Working With Children Card and Food Handling Certificate
• Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities required
• Willingness to complete mandatory national child safety training
• Able to provide contact details for at least two most recent professional referees who have managed you and can speak to your ability to work with children (eg Director, Coordinator, Area Manager)
