Job summary

MEGT is seeking a reliable, motivated and physically capable individual to start a Certificate III in Landscape Construction with a respected landscaping business based in Elanora Heights, NSW. The role offers full-time apprenticeship on premium residential projects across Sydney's Northern Beaches, providing hands-on learning from experienced tradespeople.

You will gain practical experience across all landscape construction areas, with mentoring, study time, and a clear path to a long-term

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and committed to completing an apprenticeship.
• Physically capable and comfortable with outdoor work.
• Interested in landscape construction and long-term career in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape construction from excavation to soft landscaping.
• Learn to construct retaining walls, paving, drainage, irrigation and outdoor features.
• Assist with turf laying, planting and garden establishment.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
• Work with experienced tradespeople on premium projects.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work 7:00am–3:00pm.

About the Host Employer

Our host employer has over 20 years of experience in landscape construction, specialising in high-end residential projects. The team takes pride in delivering quality outdoor spaces and developing apprentices through hands-on training, mentoring and practical experience.

As a Landscape Construction Apprentice, You Will:

• Assist with landscape construction from excavation through to soft landscaping
• Learn to construct retaining walls, paving, drainage, irrigation and outdoor features
• Assist with turf laying, planting and garden establishment
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
• Work alongside experienced tradespeople on premium residential projects
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Work consistent hours of 7:00am - 3:00pm

As you develop your skills, you'll take on increasing responsibility and gain exposure to a broad range of landscape construction projects.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and committed to completing an apprenticeship
• Genuinely interested in landscape construction and outdoor work
• Physically fit and comfortable with demanding manual work
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willing to learn, take direction and work as part of a team
• Proud of their work and committed to quality
• An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• White Card
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
