Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Australia is seeking an aspiring or experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a twelve-month fixed-term basis, working onsite at our Caringbah head office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support key finance transactions, drive consistent processes, and ensure regulatory compliance across BAS, reconciliations, and intercompany charges.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or related discipline.
• Candidates who are studying towards CPA or CA are highly regarded.
• Intermediate Excel and Outlook experience.
• Experience with Visual ERP or other ERP in an Accounting capacity desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals and bank reconciliations, monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and BAS calculations.
• Maintain and update fixed asset register and related depreciation journals.
• Prepare intercompany cross-charge invoices.
• Manage new supplier maintenance and supplier records.
• Reconcile bank accounts and support AR duties as required.
