Watts Water Technologies, through its family of brands, is a global manufacturer delivering water solutions in Australia. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team at the Caringbah head office.

You will lead two accountants, own the month-end close, ensure SOX compliance, and support forecasts, budgeting and external audits. The role requires a degree in accounting/finance and professional qualification (CPA/CA) preferred; experience in a high-volume environment with product

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• CPA, CA or comparable professional qualification preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume commercial environment with manufacturing/wholesale/industrial exposure and product costing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/HFM experience.
• Inventory/stocktaking understanding and product costing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop two accountants, setting priorities and allocating work.
• Own the month-end close timetable and post journals; complete reconciliations.
• Review GL balances, journals and reconciliations; investigate variances.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, provisions and fixed assets.
• Maintain internal control framework and segregation of duties; SOX controls.
• Coordinate tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax submissions.
• Prepare annual financial statements with auditors and support documentation.
• Support forecasting and budgeting with FP&A; provide accounting inputs.
