Arnott's Group is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 12 Hour Day Shift at our Marleston site. The role involves operating packing machinery, feeding product on the line, and ensuring safe, efficient production outcomes in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and operational standards.
• Familiar with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to follow procedures and complete documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset and proactive problem solving.
• Reliable attendance and performance record.

Responsibilities

• Set up, perform changeovers, operate and troubleshoot packing machinery.
• Maintain efficient operation of packing machines and feeding stations.
• Complete quality control checks during the shift.
• Uphold GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards; keep areas clean and compliant.
• Work independently and with the team to reach daily production targets.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and support team members as required.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
