About the Role
We are looking for an AI Technical Officer to join an AI team supporting the configuration, testing and delivery of practical AI agents, automation and enterprise AI solutions. This is a hands‑on technical delivery role suited to someone with experience across the Microsoft technology ecosystem, particularly Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Power Automate and Azure. You will work alongside senior technical and architecture specialists to take approved AI use cases from proof of concept through testing, controlled deployment and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, build, test and support AI agents, automations and workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
- Support AI solutions through prototyping, testing, deployment and operational handover.
- Configure integrations across Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, APIs and enterprise data sources.
- Work with Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI technologies, including agents, prompts, evaluations, RAG and Azure AI Search.
- Troubleshoot routine issues involving agents, workflows, connectors, authentication and access.
- Apply established security, privacy, governance and data protection practices.
- Support testing, monitoring, documentation and controlled deployment processes.
- Work with technical and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Escalate complex technical, security or architectural issues to senior specialists.
Skills and Experience required
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
- Practical experience with Azure and Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI.
- Experience building or supporting AI agents, automation workflows or enterprise AI solutions.
- Knowledge of RAG, prompt configuration, AI evaluation, content safety or Azure AI Search.
- Experience integrating Microsoft services including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and APIs.
- Understanding of security, privacy, IAM, governance and controlled deployment practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on defined technical tasks while knowing when to escalation complex issues.
Desirable
- Microsoft certifications across Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Automate or related technologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub, source control and CI/CD.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Monitor, Application Insights or Microsoft Purview.
