Job summary

Milieu Early Education and Care in NSW is seeking a Diploma-qualified or ECT Room Leader to guide our intimate 0-2 room at the 72-place Raby service. You’ll lead a dedicated team caring for 8 babies, building strong relationships with families and planning meaningful, age-appropriate learning.

In this role you’ll mentor staff, drive programming, observations and intentional teaching, maintain nurturing routines, and collaborate with Educational Leaders and the Centre Director to support the

Award-winning Milieu Early Education & Care is looking for a passionate Diploma-qualified or ECT Room Leader to lead our 0-2 room at our 72-place Raby service.

With only 8 babies in the room, you'll have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with each child and family, create meaningful learning experiences and lead a calm, nurturing environment where our youngest children can thrive.

The role

As our 0-2 Room Leader, you will:

• Lead a beautiful room of just 8 babies

• Lead, mentor and support your room team

• Build strong and trusting relationships with children and families

• Create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences

• Lead programming, observations and intentional teaching

• Maintain consistent, nurturing individual routines

• Work closely with our Educational Leaders and Centre Director

• Contribute to the QIP and continuous improvement of the service

About you

We're looking for someone with an ACECQA-approved Diploma or ECT qualification, a genuine love for the 0-2 age group and the confidence to lead a team.

Previous Room Leader experience is highly regarded; however, we'd also love to hear from an experienced educator who is ready to take the next step into leadership.
