Job summary

Bruker is seeking a technically skilled automation professional to work with customers, presenting Chemspeed automated solutions and drafting tailored workflows to meet scientific needs.

You will analyze customer processes, coordinate with R&D for customization, and support pre-sales activities by running tests and showcasing capabilities across high-throughput platforms. Excellent communication in English, with potential travel and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• University or technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory automation systems and equipment maintenance.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to communicate complex concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written English; multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to customers and present Chemspeed automated solutions.
• Analyze customer workflows and draft Chemspeed solutions with quotes.
• Serve as contact for internal champions to plan implementation of high-throughput methods.
• Participate in early development and customization with R&D by refining needs.
• Participate in tests and proofs of concept as part of pre-sales activities.
• Assist in organization and supervision of tests and PoCs.
• Transfer know-how to the R&D project manager during specifications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical expertise to the customer and presenting Chemspeed automated solutions through representative scenarios.


• Responsible for analyzing customer workflows, drafting corresponding Chemspeed solution and generating price information and quotes.


• Contact person for the customer’s internal champion(s) to help assemble a comprehensive strategy for implementation of high-throughput techniques throughout the customer organization.


• Participation in early development & customization process with our R&D department by refining customers’ needs and conceptualizing different solutions.


• Participation in the organization and supervision of tests / proof of concepts as part of the pre-sales activities.


• Participation in the specification phase with know-how transfer to the R&D project manager.


• Preparation for evaluation and identification of emerging markets and/or emerging segments in line with corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• University degree or technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.


• Practical experience with laboratory automation systems (e.g., parallel synthesis platforms or liquid handlers) and maintenance of laboratory equipment.


• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand and communicate complex scientific and automation concepts.


• Ability to analyze customer processes and translate scientific requirements into innovative automation solutions.


• Strong customer-facing, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently interact with clients and communicate technical solutions.


• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and strong general IT literacy, with confidence working with software-driven laboratory technologies.


• Experience with CRM systems and marketing/publishing tools is an advantage.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages would be an asset.
