Zusammenfassung

Fronius Canada is seeking a Welding Application Technician - Perfect Welding to join our TSN Team at Mississauga. You will provide application technical support for end clients and dealers across Ontario and beyond, and help install and test welding systems and robot controls.

Responsibilities include leading product demonstrations, designing installation parameters, training customers, and feeding back market insights to Fronius International.

Qualifikationen

• 3 year diploma in Welding Engineering Technology; 2-4 years experience.
• Hands-on welder in SMAW, GMAW & GTAW.
• Experience with robotic welding is an asset.
• Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Team player or able to work independently.
• Able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel Canada, USA and Europe; valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Application technical support for end clients and dealers in Ontario and across Canada as required.
• Organize and execute product tests at customers during pre-serial/test phases and share findings with Fronius International.
• Assist Area Sales Manager in system installation design and configuration for clients.
• Evaluate client needs for upgrades or upsells of installations.
• Work with clients on-site, providing product guidance and addressing usability issues.
• Lead demonstrations, presentations, and proposals as the technical expert.
• Provide application advice for Fronius team members, customers, distributors and dealers.
• Install and integrate welding systems and software at client locations.
• Conduct test welds and document results on Fronius intranet.
• Program, troubleshoot and test robot control units.
• Deliver training for team members, distributors, dealers and end clients.
• Support product/process introduction to the market and relay feedback to Fronius International.
• Attend trade shows and support regional/national events.
• Other tasks as required.

At Fronius Canada we are currently looking for a passionate Welding Application Technician - Perfect Welding to join our TSN Team at our Mississauga location. What you will be doing:

• Application technical support for end clients and dealers in Ontario and across Canada as required.

• Organization and execution of product tests at customers during the pre-serial/test phase as well as forwarding this knowledge to Fronius International

• Responsible for supporting the Area Sales Manager and/or the sales process in the design of system installation parameters for routine configuration and installation of Fronius product to clients and potential clients.

• Evaluates the client’s needs for upgrades or up sells of current or new installations.

• Works independently with clients and prospective clients at their locations providing product guidance and support and addressing installation and product usability issues of routine to moderate complexity.

• Attends/facilitates presentations or develops proposals, conducts demonstrations, acting as the technical expert.

• Providing application advice for Fronius team members, end customers, distributors and dealers

• Welding system and software installation and integration at client location.

• Carrying out test welds of client or prospective client prototypes and/or samples and documenting the results on the Fronius intranet.

• Programming, troubleshooting and testing of robot control units

• Conduct training events for team members, distributors, dealers and end clients

• Providing technical support for the introduction of products/systems/processes onto the market

• Forward feedback about market, competition, product to Fronius International

• Participating in trade fairs and providing technical support at regional and national events.

• Other tasks as required

What we are looking for:

• 3 year diploma in Welding Engineering Technology with 2-4 years of experience

• Good hands-on welder (SMAW, GMAW & GTAW)

• Experience with robotic welding is an asset

• Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.

• Ability to work on multiple projects

• Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• Must be willing and authorized to travel throughout Canada, USA and Europe.

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000
