Job summary

ams OSRAM AG in Austria seeks a maintenance technician for operation and upkeep of water treatment and chemical supply systems. You will monitor facilities, implement repairs, and supervise external service providers, with on-call duties after year one.

Required apprenticeship in a technical or chemical-technical trade, plus strong PC skills and German language proficiency. Experience with maintenance databases is advantageous, and a forklift license is a plus.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship completed in a technical or chemical-technical trade.
Technical understanding of complex treatment facilities and control systems.
Reliability in plant support and documentation for authorities.
PC skills: data entry in maintenance database, Outlook, Excel.
Forklift license; training can be provided.
Fluent German; English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain water treatment plants (cooling/ultrapure water) and the wastewater plant.
Operate chemical supply systems (acids, alkalis, solvents).
Monitor systems and implement corrective measures and repairs.
Regular inspections of all systems and subordinate piping to machine connections.
Supervise external companies for maintenance and expansions.
Record maintenance work and incidents in maintenance database.
On-call duty (1x month, 1 week 24/7) after one year of employment.
