Job summary

ams OSRAM's LSP unit seeks a maintenance technician to operate and maintain water treatment plants (cooling and ultrapure water) and the wastewater plant, ensuring reliable plant operations and compliance. The role requires an apprenticeship in a technical or chemical-technical field, strong understanding of treatment facilities and control systems, and careful documentation for authorities.

German language is required; English is a plus.

Qualifications

Successfully completed apprenticeship in a technical or chemical-technical profession.
Technical understanding of complex treatment facilities and control systems.
Reliability and documentation for authorities.
PC skills: data entry in maintenance database, Outlook, Excel.
Forklift driver's license required.
Fluency in German is required; English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain water treatment plants (cooling and ultrapure water) and the wastewater plant.
Operate chemical supply systems (acids, alkalis, solvents).
Monitor the mentioned systems and implement corrective measures and repairs.
Regular inspections of all systems including connected piping and machine connections.
Supervise external companies during service, repairs and system expansions.
Record maintenance work and incidents in a maintenance database.
On-call duty (1x month, 1 week 24/7) after at least one year of employment.
