Zusammenfassung

Die Universität Innsbruck sucht eine/einen Forscher/in im Bereich der theoretischen Physik für eine befristete Stelle. Die Tätigkeit umfasst 40 Wochenstunden, befristet auf 1 Jahr, beginnend am 01.10.2026.

Eigenständige Forschung in Quanten-Simulation sowie Lehre und Prüfungen stehen im Vordergrund. Es wird eine abgeschlossene Promotion in Theoretischer Physik vorausgesetzt; quantenfeldtheoretische Kenntnisse sind vorteilhaft.

Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossenes Doktorat in Theoretischer Physik.
  • Publikationen belegen Expertise in Theoretischer Physik und Quanten-Simulation.
  • Eine V:H in Quantenfeldtheorie ist vorteilhaft.

Aufgaben

  • Eigenständige Forschung im Bereich der Quanten-Simulation.
  • Eigenständige Durchführung von Lehrveranstaltungen und Prüfungen.
  • M Mitarbeit an organisatorischen und administrativen Aufgaben sowie Evaluationen.
  • Weitere Fortbildungen.

Your responsibilities:

  • Independent research in the field of quantum simulation
  • Independent delivery of teaching modules and conducting examinations
  • Contributing to organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation procedures
  • Further training

Your profile:

  • Completed doctoral or PhD degree in Theoretical Physics; expertise in the field of Theoretical Physics and quantum simulation, demonstrated through publications. A background in quantum field theory would be an advantage
  • Ability to work as part of a team
