Job profile:
Your responsibilities:
  • Independent research in the field of high-altitude physiology; the successful candidate should have experience in high-altitude physiology and be willing to familiarise themselves with research-related methods of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Contribution to research proposals and publications
  • Independent delivery of teaching modules and conducting examinations; research-led teaching in the field of performance physiology, including preparation, follow-up and examination duties
  • Supervising students, including supervising Bachelor’s theses; assisting with the supervision of Diploma and Master’s students
  • Assisting with organisational and administrative tasks; organising academic events
  • Continuing professional development; attending conferences and congresses; further training
Your profile:
  • Completed doctoral or PhD degree in a relevant subject area
  • Expertise in environmental physiology, with a particular focus on high-altitude physiology and magnetic resonance imaging
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Please specify which modules from the Sports Science curriculum you would be able to teach
