Job summary

fonio is building an AI-driven storefront and seeks a UI/UX designer who owns the website experience end-to-end. You will design and ship scalable pages, craft a reusable design system, and localize templates across 9+ markets to improve conversions.

You will work directly with the Creative Director in a fast-moving startup, focusing on user journeys, CRO, and responsive design. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifications

• Several years of UI/UX or web design experience focused on conversion.
• Portfolio demonstrating system thinking and component-based design.
• Experience with design systems and localization across markets.
• Strong understanding of user journeys and CRO.
• German at native level + good English.

Responsibilities

• Own design and continuous optimization of our website and landing pages.
• Build a scalable design system with reusable components.
• Develop landing page templates that localize across all markets (DACH, FR, IT, ES, UK, PL, US, and more).
• Design and ship live yourself - end-to-end from concept to published page.
• Think in user journey, conversion, and responsive design.
• Work closely with the Creative Director on brand direction.
