Crypto Finance AG in Zurich is seeking an Application Manager – Trading to keep its trading platforms stable, available, and improving. You will be the second-line owner for production incidents, coordinate releases, and onboard institutional clients.

The role sits at the intersection of technology, trading, and stakeholder service. You will drive configuration, backlog, and continuous improvements, collaborating with engineering, trading, and operations.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years operating or managing production-grade trading platforms within financial services.
• Proven experience in production incident management and root cause analysis.
• Experience coordinating releases and change management across technical and vendor teams.
• Strong understanding of API-based integrations (FIX, REST, WebSocket).
• Working knowledge of trading systems and order management workflows.
• Proficiency with ticketing tools (Jira preferred).
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to financial markets (e.g. DORA).

Aufgaben

• Own the day-to-day running of trading applications, ensuring availability, stability, and performance in production.
• Act as the second-line owner for production incidents—triage, resolution, RCA, and escalation to engineering.
• Plan and coordinate platform releases with Cloud, engineering, and delivery partners; manage change control and validation.
• Support institutional clients through platform integration and onboarding; ensure conformance testing before go-live.
• Configure and maintain platform and application settings to meet business needs.
• Open, track, and manage tickets for production issues and improvements; manage backlog.
• Evaluate platform performance and drive reliability, speed, and scalability improvements.
• Support Product Manager on initiatives and ensure timely platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering, trading, operations, and clients to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure platform security, regulatory compliance (DORA) and maintain documentation.
