Job summary

Michael Page sucht eine erfahrene Fachkraft für globale technische Produktverantwortung in Wien. Sie steuern das Portfolio technisch und estrategisch, begleiten den Entwicklungslebenszyklus von der Markteinführung bis zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung und arbeiten eng mit Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales sowie regionalen Application Engineering-Organisationen zusammen.

Sie evaluieren neue Konzepte, koordinieren grenzüberschreitende Initiativen und definieren technische Richtlinien

Qualifications

• Abschluss in Maschinenbau, Werkstofftechnik, Verfahrenstechnik oder ähnlicher Fachrichtung.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Produktentwicklung, Application Engineering oder techn. Projektmanagement.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse industrieller Komponenten und ihrer Anwendungen.
• Nachweisliche Erfahrung im technischen Kundensupport.
• Gutes Verständnis von Materialien, Konstruktionsprinzipien und Engineer-Parametern.
• Idealerweise Erfahrung mit Hochleistungspolymeren und metallischen Werkstoffen.
• Erfahrung in der Koordination internationaler Entwicklungsprojekte.
• Analytische Fähigkeiten, strukturierte, proaktive Arbeitsweise.
• Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, professionell im Umgang mit internationalen Kunden.
• Fließendes Englisch; Deutsch vorteilhaft, aber nicht zwingend.
• Reisebereitschaft ca. 20–30%.

• Present technical solutions and deliver knowledge-transfer and training activities.

The position is part of a global Product Management team and works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales and regional Application Engineering organisations.

Anforderungsprofil

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Process Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Several years of experience in product development, Application Engineering, Engineering or Technical Project Management
• Strong knowledge of industrial components and their use in demanding technical applications
• Proven experience in technical customer support and resolving complex application-related challenges
• Sound understanding of materials, design principles, product functionality and engineering parameters
• Ideally, experience with high-performance polymers and metallic materials
• Track record of coordinating international development or technology projects
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, proactive and independent approach to work
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner when engaging with international customers and cross-functional teams
• Fluent English; German is an advantage but not essential
• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 20 to 30% of the time
