Job summary

Bitpanda is seeking a Senior Associate, Tax Compliance & Reporting, to strengthen domestic and international tax compliance and reporting across the Group. You will assess tax implications for crypto-related products and coordinate with tax advisors, while driving automation and process improvements.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Product, and Compliance to embed tax requirements into business processes and launches, ensuring timely filings and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics (focus on tax/accounting preferred) with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in consultancy or international corporate tax environments.
• Interest in financial products, cryptocurrencies, and the evolving regulatory/tax landscape surrounding digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and coordinate domestic and international tax compliance obligations (CIT, VAT) and support group-wide tax reporting.
• Assess corporate and customer-facing tax implications for financial products, including cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and traditional securities.
• Oversee international tax matters, transfer pricing documentation, permanent establishment risks, and external advisor relationships.
• Collaborate across Accounting, Legal, Product, and Compliance to embed tax requirements into business processes and product launches.
• Support tax audits and regulatory inquiries while leading tax projects focused on automation, data-driven reporting, and process improvements.
