IT:U is a new technical university in Austria (Linz) dedicated to digital transformation, driven by interdisciplinary research and project-based learning to actively shape this transformation and advance it with a solution-oriented approach.

You will coach small student teams, guiding them in planning, prioritization, time management, and resource allocation while fostering collaboration and reflective practice.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training or equivalent experience in coaching, pedagogy, psychology, HR development, education, project management or related field.
• Experience in coaching, facilitation and supporting learning processes with students or young professionals.
• Strong understanding of group and team dynamics in project-based learning or project environments.

Aufgaben

• Coach small student teams throughout their project work, supporting effective collaboration and self-organization.
• Guide students in developing their personal and social skills according to the IT:U competence framework.
• Support students in project planning, milestone setting, prioritization, time management, and resource allocation.
• Help teams establish effective ways of working, clarifying roles, and managing challenges and competing priorities.
• Foster team reflection and retrospectives, helping students identify areas for improvement and take ownership of their development.
• Facilitate constructive conversations when disagreements arise, helping students understand different perspectives and work towards solutions.
• Work closely with project educators to align coaching and skills development with curriculum goals.
