Job summary

Abroadjobsineurope is seeking a skilled steelworker to form, fabricate, and erect structural steel components for various projects. You will align and cut steel sections, operate hoists and power tools, and ensure quality welds and secure connections.

The role requires experience in welding, cutting, and metalworking, with emphasis on precision, safety, and the ability to work at heights. Prior maintenance or construction exposure is advantageous, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Welding certifications and safety training certificate required.
• Prior experience in steelworking, construction, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in welding, cutting, and metalworking techniques.
• Strong focus on precision and quality in work.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and working at heights.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Form, fabricate, erect structural steel components and reinforce bars.
• Align and fit steel sections and tubing to required dimensions.
• Load, unload and support steel in construction environments.
• Operate hoists, power tools, torches, and measuring devices on site.
• Weld and secure clips and base plates to existing structures.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear PPE at all times.
• Assist with handling modulars and transport operations as needed.
