Borealis AG in Linz is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and develop the site procurement activities. You will manage the local team and ensure competitive, compliant, and sustainable solutions across technical and service categories.

You will drive operational excellence, security of supply, and alignment with group strategies, acting as a key business partner to operations, engineering, and group procurement. Fluency in English and German is required.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of professional experience, including 5–10 years in a similar procurement leadership role.
• Strong experience in technical procurement and negotiations within an industrial environment.
• Solid understanding of contractual and legal principles.
• Proven people management and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Fluency in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Define and implement the site procurement strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop the site procurement team with clear objectives and KPIs.
• Negotiate framework agreements and terms with key suppliers.
• Ensure competitive total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and safety.
• Manage supplier performance and supply risks; support multi-site sourcing.
