Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories Discovery | EMEA is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead procurement activities across Early Phase Discovery and Preclinical Operations. You will drive regional and global sourcing strategies, partner with Scientific Operations, and manage supplier relationships to deliver high-quality discovery services.

Responsibilities include end-to-end sourcing projects, spend analysis, and contract negotiations, with a primary focus on Europe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing.
• Experience supporting laboratory, CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated environments.
• Proven experience leading complex sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from planning through implementation.
• Establish project plans, budgets, milestones, and success metrics.
• Analyse spend data from ERP systems and supplier data to identify value opportunities.
• Develop category baselines and market intelligence to support sourcing strategies.
• Conduct RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to benchmark suppliers and validate opportunities.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across Scientific Operations, Laboratory Management, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Operations.
