Job summary

Voith Group seeks a Head of Strategic Procurement EMEA to lead strategic sourcing across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will develop long-term strategies, drive negotiations at the EMEA level, and create value through supplier partnerships, risk management and digital procurement tools.

You will lead a procurement team, ensure compliance, and align with sustainability goals while optimizing operations and cost efficiency in a complex, international setting.

Qualifications

• Several years in strategic purchasing, ideally project related.
• Strong change management experience in procurement.
• Proven track record leading teams on complex projects.
• Excellent negotiating skills and analytical thinking.
• Good contract law knowledge and modern purchasing methods.
• Confident with ERP and AI/dashboarding tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long term procurement strategies.
• Negotiate prices and contracts at the EMEA level.
• Identify and realize savings via value analysis.
• Monitor procurement markets and derive measures.
• Select and develop suppliers; build strategic partnerships.
• Forecast planning and volume management for supply capability.
• Conclude framework and performance agreements.
• Manage risk for supply security, quality, and price escalation.
• Support make-or-buy decisions and lead procurement team.
• Create procurement reports and monitor KPIs.
