Responsibilities

• Selection and qualification of project-specific suppliers
• Identification, evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers, taking into account quality, costs, delivery performance and sustainability criteria
• Monitoring of KPIs and implementation of improvement measures
• Active participation in cross-functional projects within the global procurement organisation
• Conducting market analyses, benchmarking and risk analyses
• Conducting price and contract negotiations with international suppliers
• Helping to shape and further develop global procurement processes and tools

Qualifications

• A completed technical or business degree (university or university of applied sciences, e.g. industrial engineering, electrical engineering, supply chain management, business administration)
• Several years’ professional experience in strategic procurement
• Experience in international sourcing, preferably in Eastern Europe
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes in mechanical engineering and sheet metal working
• Business fluency in English
• Experience with SAP
