IBSA Institut Biochimique SA is seeking an IT Category Manager to own end-to-end IT procurement strategy, spanning software, hardware and services. You will drive TCO-based decisions and align IT sourcing with IBSA's digital transformation.

The role interfaces between Procurement and Enterprise Technology & Transformation, shaping category strategy with ET&T leadership and ensuring value for money, risk management and alignment with the technology roadmap.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in IT category management in a multinational environment.
• Proven track record managing complex IT contracts (software licensing, cloud, hardware, consulting).
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in large-scale vendor negotiations.
• Solid understanding of IT licensing models (perpetual, subscription, SaaS).
• Experience with P2P platforms and e-procurement tools; Jaggaer is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Italian; French or German is an advantage.
• Strategic thinking to align category strategies with business objectives.
• Commercial acumen with ability to model TCO across lifecycle.
• Risk management to mitigate procurement and cybersecurity risk.
• Influencing skills across functions and seniority.
• Results oriented with ownership mindset.
• Integrity & compliance in procurement processes.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT category strategy (software, hardware, services).
• Lead IT tender processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) in compliance with policy.
• Negotiate contracts, SLAs, pricing, and terms with IT vendors.
• Manage contract lifecycle including renewals and exit strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal on data security, IP, and GDPR.
• Build strategic relationships with IT suppliers and conduct reviews.
• Monitor KPIs and escalate issues with corrective actions.
• Embed TCO methodology in category decisions.
• Drive risk mitigation and alternative sourcing options.
• Partner with ET&T and other stakeholders on demand and roadmaps.
