Job summary

PRO-Global Search is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join a leadership team of a portfolio company building a major greenfield RAS and fish-processing facility in Austria.

The CFO will drive financial strategy from investment through commissioning and full-scale operations, working closely with shareholders and the executive team to optimize capital structure, budgeting and reporting in a production-intensive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior finance executive.
• Experience in RAS, fish farming, processing or related production environments.
• Strong background in production, manufacturing or asset-intensive business.
• Experience with greenfield projects and major CAPEX programmes.
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's financial strategy, planning and control.
• Partner with shareholders and senior management on key investment and business decisions.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financing and management reporting.
• Lead financial planning and control throughout the greenfield project.
• Manage CAPEX, OPEX, project economics, production costs and investment returns.
• Develop financial models and business plans.
• Establish effective financial processes, controls and reporting structures.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors and other financial stakeholders.
• Build and lead the finance function as the business grows.
• Support the transition from construction and commissioning to full-scale production.
