Zusammenfassung

Private Investment Group is seeking a Chief Technical Officer for a portfolio company developing a major greenfield RAS and fish-processing facility in Austria. The CTO will own the technical concept, design and implementation from concept to ramp-up, working with shareholders, project leadership and senior management.

Responsibilities include defining technical requirements, selecting systems, and overseeing aquaculture and processing technologies, commissioning and decision support for CAPEX.

Qualifikationen

• Senior technical leadership in RAS, fish farming or related production environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial aquaculture and/or fish-processing technologies.
• Experience with land-based aquaculture or RAS systems is a plus.
• Involvement in design, development, commissioning or launch of production facilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead the overall technical and production technology strategy for the greenfield facility.
• Take ownership of aquaculture, fish-production and processing technology concept.
• Define technical requirements and ensure integration into plant design and engineering.
• Lead selection and implementation of production systems, technologies and equipment.
• Oversee aquaculture systems, process engineering, water treatment, production efficiency and biosecurity.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams, suppliers and technology partners.
• Ensure safe, efficient, scalable and commercially viable production.
• Lead commissioning, start-up and ramp-up activities.
