PRO-Global Search is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join a leadership team of a portfolio company building a major greenfield RAS and fish-processing facility in Austria.

The CFO will drive financial strategy from investment through commissioning and full-scale operations, working closely with shareholders and the executive team to optimize capital structure, budgeting and reporting in a production-intensive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior finance executive.
• Experience in RAS, fish farming, processing or related production environments.
• Strong background in production, manufacturing or asset-intensive business.
• Experience with greenfield projects and major CAPEX programmes.
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory.

A private investment group is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the leadership team of its portfolio company developing a major greenfield RAS and fish-processing facility in Austria.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in building a production business from the ground up. The CFO will work directly with shareholders and the executive team, leading the financial strategy from the investment and construction phase through commissioning and full-scale operations.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior finance executive.
• Experience within RAS, fish farming, fish processing, seafood production or a closely related production environment.
• Strong background in a production, manufacturing or asset-intensive business.
• Experience in food production or processing, agriculture, agribusiness, aquaculture, farming, livestock production, agricultural processing or industrial manufacturing is particularly relevant.
• Experience with production facilities, greenfield projects or major CAPEX programmes is a strong advantage.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, modelling, cash-flow management and investment analysis.
• Expertise in different forms of project financing arrangements: leasing, banking, equity.
• Commercially minded, hands‑on and comfortable building financial structures and processes in a growing business.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent German and English are mandatory.
