You will align suppliers with future technology objectives, drive cost reductions through strategic negotiations, and work with R&D and Operations to ensure quality and availability.

Fluent German and English, SAP/Ariba and MS Office skills are required; travel 10–20%.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a completed commercial/vocational qualification with extensive professional experience.
• Several years of professional experience in technical procurement, category management and/or sales within the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes combined with a solid technical understanding.
• Strong SAP/Ariba and Microsoft Office skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, spare parts, and services.
• Align suppliers with future technology objectives and drive innovation through early collaboration with R&D and Operations.
• Analyze cost structures and implement cost reduction initiatives through strategic negotiations, while optimizing the supply chain to improve the availability of equipment, spare parts, and services.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards, mitigate risks, and effectively manage issues.
• Conduct market analyses to enable advantageous deals and partnerships that align procurement activities with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, while continuously improving procurement processes and tools to increase efficiency and the overall value contribution of the procurement function.
• Establish supplier performance metrics and further develop the respective category to support future investments.
