ams-OSRAM AG's LSP unit seeks a technically proficient engineer to drive data-based control and optimization in plasma etch processes. You will collaborate with R&D and production, solving cross-functional challenges and implementing process improvements to boost yield and robustness.

The role requires a Master’s in engineering or natural sciences, several years of experience, and strong German and English communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Master's degree in engineering or natural sciences or equivalent experience.
• Several years of professional technical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Six Sigma Green Belt or higher desirable.
• Experience with SPC and FDC process control methods.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing, project-oriented environment.
• Independent, responsible and team-oriented work style.
• Willingness to take on new tasks as part of a team or cross-functional lead.
• Well organized with ability to handle diverse requirements.
• Good written and spoken German and English.

Responsabilidades

• Data-based control and monitoring of the plasma etch process using machine or measurement data (SPC, FDC).
• Solving process or equipment problems in close cooperation with various departments or external suppliers.
• Evaluating and implementing possible process simplifications/improvements to reduce manufacturing costs, increase process yield and improve product robustness by applying Six Sigma methodologies.
• Transferring new technologies to production in collaboration with R&D and process integration.
• Interface with other technical areas (e.g. maintenance, R&D, line control, suppliers, etc.) and other relevant departments (e.g. quality).
