Erste Digital GmbH is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive feasibility studies, transformation initiatives and IT projects across the organization. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to turn complex challenges into practical, data-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, data quality controls, and prior experience in international or multi-country environments.

Qualificações

• Several years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in software development or IT transformation projects are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and process-management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus.

What to do:

You will play a key role in feasibility studies, transformation initiatives and implementation projects. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will help turn complex challenges into practical and sustainable solutions.

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, understand their needs and translate business requirements into clear specifications for technical implementation.

• Analyse new data requirements, develop and maintain data catalogues, and define data quality controls.

• Investigate issues, identify root causes and present clear, actionable solution options.

• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and data quality.

• Validate technical implementations and ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations.

• Support feasibility assessments, transformation initiatives and project deliveries throughout the solution lifecycle.

You check these boxes:

• Several years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Analyst or in a comparable role, with the ability to challenge established processes constructively and maintain a strategic perspective.

• Hands-on experience working in software development or IT transformation projects, ideally in an international or multi-country environment.

• Strong analytical and process management skills; experience in consulting or stakeholder advisory roles is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. German language skills are considered an asset.

• Ability to convey complex business and technical topics in a clear and understandable manner to a variety of stakeholders.

• Solid SQL skills and a good understanding of data models; knowledge of Databricks is an advantage.

• A structured and adaptable working style, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.

• An interest in leveraging digital and AI-supported tools to improve efficiency, support decision-making and enhance collaboration.

• Strong ownership, attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, combined with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

• Curiosity, continuous learning agility and a willingness to embrace new technologies, methodologies and ways of working.

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 55.356,-- gross per year.
