For our European Headquarters in Vienna, we are looking for a committed professional to strengthen our System Implementation & Support Team, starting immediately:
Software Test Engineer (f/m/d)
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Testing of our cross-platform front-end application running on different devices such as traditional lottery terminals in retailer shops and self-service terminals and our microservice-oriented management support backend systems
- Working in an agile environment (SCRUM/Kanban, SAFE4) with distributed teams in Europe
- Creating and reviewing test specifications, methods, plans, cases, and test data
- Execution and monitoring (manual & automated) of functional, integration, system, performance, field, and acceptance tests
- Planning and overseeing the implementation of test environments and test tools
- Defining and classifying defects, including defect tracking (JIRA)
- Analysis and test documentation
- Communicating with clients to gather and clarify requirements, provide testing updates and discuss identified issues during the User Acceptance Test as well as during operations
- Contributing to our continuous improvement system as part of ISO 9000 certification
Your Profile:
- Completed technical education in the IT field
- Excellent knowledge and experience in the field of software testing (manual and automated)
- Good understanding of business processes
- Advantageous: Hands-on automated testing experience, knowledge of Linux; experience with GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and OpenShift
- Desirable: ISTQB certification
- Strong team spirit, good communication skills, commitment, and reliability
- Proactive attitude, high level of quality awareness, and attention to detail
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) and working knowledge of German

According to Austrian law, we are required to state the minimum salary. According to the IT CBA, this amounts to €3,175,- gross monthly for this position for 38.5 hours/week. However, we expressly point out that we value knowledge and experience and will naturally take this into account with significant overpayment in compensation.
