SCIENTIFIC GAMES in Vienna seeks a Test Engineer to advance testing of gaming applications. You will work in an agile environment, create and review test artifacts, and perform manual and automated testing across many layers.

You will communicate with clients to clarify requirements and report on results. The role requires a minimum of 3+ years in testing, German and English language skills, and Linux experience, with ISTQB CT-FL as a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Test gaming application across multiple layers and environments.
• Work in an agile environment (SCRUM/Kanban) and contribute to test plans.
• Create and review test specifications, methods, plans, cases, and data.
• Execute tests and monitor function, integration, system, performance, and acceptance tests (manual & automated).
• Define defects, track issues in JIRA, and log test results.
• Provide expert advice and on-call support to the organization.
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide testing updates.

The following CHALLENGES await You:

• Testing of our gaming application
• Working in an agile environment (SCRUM/Kanban)
• Creating and reviewing test specifications, methods, plans, cases, and test data
• Test execution and monitoring for function, integration, system, performance, field and acceptance tests (manual & automated)
• Error definition & classification, defect tracking (JIRA)
• Analysis and test logging
• On call duties
• Support of the company organization through expert advice
• Communicating with clients to gather and clarify requirements, provide testing updates, and discuss identified issues

JOIN US, if:

• You have completed technical education in IT (BSC is an advantage)
• You have minimum 3+ years of experience in the field of testing (manual and automated)
• You have good comprehension of business processes

Technical experience:

• Must have: Linux
• Good to have: ISTQB CT-FL or higher, experience with Cucumber
• You have experience working with customers
• You would like to use your excellent English on a daily basis
• You have good German language knowledge

According to Austrian law, we are required to state the minimum salary. According to the IT CBA, this amounts to €3,175,- gross monthly for this position for 38.5 hours/week.
