METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Software Engineer for Integration & Automation to join our Software Development Center. You will design, develop, and maintain integration and automation solutions across laboratory instruments, robotics platforms, and enterprise applications.

The role requires strong OO programming skills (C#/.NET), web development, and Python, with experience in APIs (REST/SOAP), OPC UA, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Several years of professional software development experience in software engineering and system integration environments.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills, ideally in .NET/C#, plus Web-based programming and Python.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and enhance integration and automation software solutions for laboratory instruments and enterprise systems.
• Design and implement automation and robotics integrations using platforms like ABB RobotStudio and RAPID programming.
• Collaborate with global teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
• Provide technical consulting and engineering support for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure high software quality through testing, documentation, deployment, and secure development practices.
