Job summary

Unify is seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a data centre project in Austria. You will lead mechanical installation, testing and commissioning of packaged plantrooms across Europe, coordinating client teams and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mechanical site supervision, fluent English, a valid driving licence, and willingness to travel across Europe (5-7 months per location). This role offers travel opportunities and career development.

Mechanical Site Supervisor – Data Centres | Europe

Our client, a leading provider of modular MEP and offsite plantroom solutions, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a data centre project in Austria.

The Role

• Supervise mechanical installation, reconnection, testing and commissioning of packaged plantrooms across Europe.
• Lead and coordinate client-appointed mechanical teams and contractors.
• Ensure works meet drawings, quality standards, programme and HSEQ requirements.
• Carry out quality/technical inspections, pressure testing and SAT documentation.
• Provide regular progress updates, daily reports and coordinate closely with the wider MEP management team.
• Support the successful delivery of multiple data centre projects across Europe.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in a mechanical site supervisory role.
• EU Passport + Right to work in the UK
• Strong mechanical/MEP technical background.
• Proven experience managing installation teams on site.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong planning and programme management ability.
• Data Centre or critical infrastructure experience highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel and work across Europe, typically spending 5-7 months per location.
• Full, clean driving licence and fluent English.
