Zusammenfassung

pixelart GmbH is seeking an SEO & GEO Manager (all genders) to refine and expand the digital presence of clients across traditional search and generative AI systems. You will analyze, structure and optimize content for better visibility and brand understanding with a data-driven, curiosity-led approach.

Fluency in German (min B2) and strong SEO expertise are required. We offer a full-time or part-time role from 30 hours, with location options in Vienna or Salzburg and competitive compensation.

Qualifikationen

As an SEO & GEO Manager, you’ll analyze, structure, and optimize the digital presences of our diverse clients for traditional search engines and generative search and answer systems. Through your work, you’ll ensure that brands, products, services, and content are not only easier to find but are also correctly understood, considered, cited, and recommended by Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and others. For this, we’re looking for an analytical and curious individual with strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative—someone who has mastered traditional SEO and will work with us to shape the next generation of organic visibility.

Your tasks
  • Developing excellent SEO and GEO strategies to significantly increase our clients’ organic and generative visibility
  • Planning, prioritizing, and implementing specific SEO and GEO measures to support our clients’ business and conversion goals
  • Analyzing markets, subject areas, and competitors in terms of traditional search visibility and visibility in generative search and answer systems, and deriving concrete strategies and measuresConducting keyword, topic, prompt, and competitive analyses, as well as identifying relevant search intents, user queries, and topic clusters
  • Optimizing websites for on-page SEO, technical SEO, information architecture, internal linking, indexability, structured data, and machine readability
  • Analyzing and optimizing entities, topic relationships, and information structures with the goal of making brands, products, and services clearly understandable to search engines and generative systems
  • Developing and optimizing high-quality content for traditional search and AI search—from relevant topics and content gaps to source quality, entity coverage, and citable information structures
  • Analyzing the AI readiness of digital platforms and deriving concrete measures to improve the discoverability, comprehensibility, and usability of content by search engines, large language models, and AI agents
  • Analysis of citations, mentions, sources, and recommendation patterns in generative systems, as well as the development of measures to increase brand authority and digital presence
  • Monitoring and analysis of traditional SEO KPIs as well as new GEO and AI visibility metrics such as brand mentions, citations, share of voice, recommendation rate, and entity coverage
  • Developing and conducting tests and experiments across different prompts, topic clusters, models, and platforms to better understand changes and influencing factors affecting AI visibility
  • Creating and presenting meaningful performance reports and deriving concrete recommendations for action from the data collected
  • Proactively identifying growth and improvement opportunities and advising our clients on current and future developments in the areas of search and AI
  • Due to our corporate language and current client structure, German language skills at a minimum B2 level are required
  • Staying up-to-date with trends and developments in SEO, GEO, AI Search, generative systems, and digital visibility

  • Strong analytical thinking skills and a passion for working with data, numbers, and new measurement metho
  • Experience working with web analytics data, such as from Google Analytics or Matomo, is a plus—however, the design and technical implementation of tracking setups are not part of your role
  • Experience with content management systems and an understanding of information architecture, structured content, and digital content processes are a plus
  • Basic knowledge and technical understanding of modern web technologies are a plus; programming skills, such as in JavaScript or Python, are an added bonus
  • A keen sense for high-quality, target-audience-oriented, and machine-readable content
  • Curiosity and a willingness to experiment: GEO and AI Search are evolving rapidly, and you enjoy developing hypotheses, trying out new methods, and drawing insights from them
  • Ability to present complex technical and strategic concepts in an understandable way to both clients and internal
Our Offer
