Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• Significant experience as SAP Key User and Controller.
• Expert SAP knowledge (FICO, BW, BPC) and advanced Excel; TM1 knowledge helpful.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities for data-driven decisions.
• Fluent in English; German preferred for local processes.

To enhance our successful Controlling Team in Leoben Austria, we are looking for a passionate Senior Specialist SAP Key User.

This position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis, with part-time arrangements starting from 50%.

In this role, you will be the primary SAP CO expert within Corporate Controlling, supporting users and improving controlling processes, data quality and decision‑making.

Your Responsibilities

• Measure and analyze business performance to identify improvement opportunities and support effective controlling
• Provide decision support to internal and external stakeholders by evaluating relevant information and translating findings into clear insights
• Serve as the primary expert for SAP CO modules and provide first‑level support to end users
• Understand and document business processes and requirements to support effective SAP CO solutions
• Maintain user documentation, procedures and work instructions while promoting best practices and standardized system usage
• Participate in SAP projects, upgrades and enhancements to support the development of controlling processes and systems
• Validate system changes before production deployment to ensure that they meet documented business requirements
• Ensure accurate and consistent master data while supporting compliance with company policies and audit requirements

Your Profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration, or another relevant qualification from a recognized institution
• Considerable professional experience as an SAP Key User and Controller
• Expert knowledge of Excel and SAP, particularly FICO, BW and BPC, combined with good knowledge of IBM TM1
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and support informed decision‑making
• Sound understanding of both business and technical topics, combined with an independent, proactive and solution‑oriented approach
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support projects, influence key stakeholders and drive alignment toward strategic objectives
• Fluent English skills; German language skills are considered an advantage
