ISG Personalmanagement GmbH in Graz is seeking a Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) for an internationally operating software company in aviation solutions. You will develop high-quality software, implement features in an agile team, and collaborate with Product Owner to refine requirements.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, knowledge sharing, and a modern tech stack including microservices, APIs, and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Education in software development or related degree.
• Strong understanding of Kalman filter and state-transition matrices.
• Ability to research new topics quickly and apply knowledge.
• Proactive, pragmatic, step-by-step problem solving approach.
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to functional and OO programming; Scala/Java/Python a plus.
• Fluent English as working language.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software using a modern technology stack for fault-tolerant, high-performance computing solutions in the aviation industry.
• Implement, test, document, and integrate new features as part of an agile development team.
• Define and refine features in close collaboration with the Product Owner and your development colleagues.
• Create and present software-level designs, develop test procedures, and participate in internal reviews.
• Coach team members and actively foster knowledge-transfer sharing within the team.
• Take end-to-end ownership of feature development, aligned with overall project milestones and delivery commitments.
