Österreichische Post AG is hiring to evolve its Event Streaming Platform that powers enterprise event-driven communication. You will contribute to self-service tooling, platform standards, and automated testing to enhance reliability and developer productivity.

We expect hands-on Kafka experience, strong C# or Java skills, and familiarity with IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell). Flexible work arrangements are offered and compensation reflects experience.

• Strong programming skills in C# or Java and solid software engineering principles.
• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/e2e).

What you will work on

• You build and enhance self-service capabilities, tools, and templates that empower development teams to adopt event-driven architectures with ease
• You define and evolve platform standards, best practices, and reusable solution patterns for Apache Kafka and event streaming
• You design and implement automated testing and quality assurance mechanisms to ensure platform reliability and stability
• You collaborate closely with development teams to design, build, and evolve event-driven domain services and business solutions
• You continuously improve the developer experience through automation, simplification, and abstraction of infrastructure complexity

What you bring with you

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and a passion for building event-driven systems
• Strong programming skills in C# or Java and a solid understanding of software engineering principles
• Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end test automation
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or PowerShell
• A collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for enabling other teams to succeed

Compensation depends on experience and qualifications; however, the minimum gross annual salary is EUR 65.000 (all-in).
