Zusammenfassung

Radancy in Vienna is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and evolve robust backend services using Rust and full‑stack capabilities. You will own complex technical initiatives, collaborate with the Tech Lead and cross‑functional teams, and contribute to APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and delivery pipelines.

You will balance delivery with maintainability, focus on security and observability, and mentor peers while driving architectural improvements across the product

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong professional experience developing production systems with Rust.
• Good understanding of ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, generics, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and error handling in Rust.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering reliable back-end services and distributed systems.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, validation, versioning, and error handling.
• Experience with relational database design and development, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of SQL, indexing, query optimization, migrations, transactions, and data integrity.
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Professional experience with front-end collaboration (Vue.js/Angular/Lit).
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead the technical design and delivery of complex features and services.
• Define and evolve service architecture, integration patterns, and engineering standards.
• Build secure, scalable, well-documented REST APIs.
• Design relational database schemas, queries, migrations, indexes, and transactions.
• Contribute to front-end applications where appropriate.
• Define and implement unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Build observability through logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
• Design, deploy, and operate cloud-based systems on AWS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure with Terraform; containerize with Docker.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Collaborate with product, design, platform, security, and quality teams.
• Partner with Tech Lead to improve practices, workflows, and docs.
