Job summary

CycloTech GmbH in Linz is seeking a Senior Rotor Aerodynamics Engineer to lead aerodynamic design and development of CycloRotor propulsion systems, from concept to validation, working with aero, mechanical, and flight-physics teams.

You will carry out CFD validation, coordinate experimental work, and help define performance targets while collaborating across disciplines in a hybrid work environment with a focus on innovation and growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in aerodynamics design and development.
• Strong understanding of design, simulation, correlation, and validation at system level.

Responsibilities

• Aerodynamic design and optimization of CycloRotor units from conceptual design to testing and validation.
• Validation plans for CFD simulations and experimental setups.
• Collaborate with structural and mechanical engineers to optimize the aerodynamic-structural interface.
• Define processes, interfaces, and best practices for system performance, aerodynamic development, simulation, testing, and validation.
